This month we start a new series of the MARITIME IRELAND RADIO SHOW & PODCAST, an hour-long monthly programme with the widest, most comprehensive coverage of Ireland’s maritime sector available on any Irish media outlet. On this edition – There is more public awareness of shipping; the Irish port which Columbus visited, Galway, intends to expand; what can you hear inside sea shells; the importance of marshes; the offshore islands; whales and dolphins and what’s new this year for anglers. It’s a comprehensive, wide-ranging and varied programme about Ireland’s maritime sector.

Here on the website we have added an archhive where last year’s (2021) series of half-hour prorammes can be heard. There will also be a weekly blog and at the top of the website the Community Stations around Ireland which broadcast the programme are listed, including schedule details.
You can also listen to the programme here on this website or on your favourite Podcast service including Apple, Spotify, Mixcloud and others.
I encourage listeners to join our ‘community of the sea’ – You can contact the programme on Email:maritimeirelandradioshow@gmail.com and by phone and text: 087255197 A lustener’s newsletter is available on MailChimp on request.
